Dow Recognized 3M Leadership
In 2007, the Dow Jones Sustainability Index recognized 3M as first in its industry sector for the sixth consecutive year. Moreover in 2005, 3M received the US EPA Climate Protection Award, US EPA Clean Air Excellence Award and the Energy Star Sustained Excellence Award, among others.

Pollution Prevention Programs
3M's Commercial Graphics Division maintains several pollution prevention programs at our 3M Facility aimed at reducing air emissions, solid wastes, recycling, and energy reduction. Our 3M Facility is on the National Environmental Performance Track. This is an EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) recognition of sustainable environmental performance. In addition, Commercial Graphics Division's 3M facility is ISO 14001 certified.

    National Environmental Performance Track (PTrack)
    The 3M Commercial Graphics Division plant in Nevada, Mo., is one of 16 3M sites registered with the EPA’s PTrack. This voluntary program recognizes and drives environmental excellence by encouraging facilities with strong environmental records to go beyond their legal requirements. In 2005, the plant received the EPA Environmental Performance Award.

    National Partnership for Environmental Priorities (NPEP)
    3M is a partner of this program that designed to recognize facilities to minimize priority hazardous wastes.
